Just wondering if anyone can give me any recommendations of where you could buy "old" stuff for a house... It is for some American Visitors who will be in Dublin next weekend, Last time they were here the bought a old brass door knocker in an antique shop in Galway which they were delighted with.

They will just be in Dublin for this visit and are looking for similar type items. I suppose ornaments for shelves, wall hangings etc

Would appreciate any advice so that I can give them an idea of some shops to visit while in Dublin - They will be staying in Temple Bar

They could have a look in some of the antique shops on Francis Street or have a wander in the charity shops on Camden Street.

Thanks everyone for suggestions. I have sent them the suggestions so they can do a bit of research themselves before they travel from US on Thursday
