It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Aww thats a really deceant thing to do! You sound like a top friend! And thats something i worry about all the time! What will happen if my parent need care or become ill what will I do ? I know worring about it wont change a thing but it keeps me up at night! Any way it sound like your love life may be on hold for a while when your in cavan! But you know what they say! No good deed goes unpunished:pac: but it wont be forever!

There are a fair few gay people in Cavan but to be honest I am living here 4 years and I still go out in Dublin. Every now and again the local LGBT group organise cinema, bowling nights and occasionally a disco in the White Star. I have never been though so cant comment on what it is like.

It would be nice to have a gay bar in Cavan. Lord knows there are enough bars to go around :D

I dont know anybody socially from Cavan (though I have my suspicions on a couple of guys at the gym I train in :D) ,I have just got to know a few people from some of the groups on Facebook who live here.

Does anyone know what age group the LGBT in Cavan group mainly consists of? I'm thinking of going to one of their meetings but don't fancy being the only person of my age there.

Just moved to Cavan myself as well recently, spend most of my weekends down in Dublin as I'm sure a lot of the gays would. Mailed the LGBTinc people without success, may send them a text if I pluck up the courage.

I've been wondering the same thing! So difficult to tease bromance and posing apart from gayness.
