Amateur MMA gloves, should be 6-8oz in weight-brand is not important once they're the correct weight-the padding is usually about an inch on the knuckle, thats a guess by the way but i'd say close enough, Weight of the glove is the real indicator of if it is suitable.

MMA league rules use regular pro mma gloves and this can cause confusion.

Loads of guys in our gym have wasted their money buying cheap **** ass Mma gloves that are pro style to be informed they should have bought the ones we sell

In club sparring should be done with the c class style gloves (IMO). The pro style ones cut you to ribbons

16 oz gloves should also be a minimum I think when striking IMO

I like the sandee sparring glove or the new style ones caged steel do

    MMA sparring gloves are 6-8oz
Pro MMA gloves are 4oz usually

Boxing Sparring gloves are 16oz usually
    Pro Boxing gloves are 8-10oz

What type of gloves have you? been to hard would not be that common.
