forestry/logging jobs in NZ

    Hi does anybody know anything about the logging industry in NZ. forest machinery operators are on the immiediate shortage list on NZ immigration but after emailing 40 logging companies ive got no reply. i need a job offer to get a visa as im 34 but it looks like a catch 22 id need to be over there to get the job. any help or advise would be great

    How about just calling them up? Companies get tons of emails from people abroad every day, most probably gets deleted as spam.

    Other then that maybe an option would be to come down for a few weeks on a tourist visa and apply in person.

    Usually loads advertised there
