    thanks

I have a similar one I bought a good while ago.
Yes it displays the Irish DTT channels.
I hated the swivel connection ..... had trouble with the old TV trying to get it to fit reliably. A scart lead would have been a much better option for me.

No MHEG5, so no Text or other services that might appear.

Picture was good. I no longer use it for the main TV which I changed and got an Ariva Combi STB.

You can get the same thing, much the same price, on ebay with free shipping (might have to wait a week or 2).

    thanks

I got one of these from the site you linked to.

It works, but remote is very precise....you have to press buttons very lightly,

Also, not sure that the power supply is up to the job, when I use the receiver with its own supply, picture breaks up, when I use another power supply, receiver works fine

The one I have causes interference on analogue channels, really bad on one particular VHF channel, only slight on UHF & doesn't seem to cause any noticeable problems with the digital muxes.

I'm not close enough to the neighbours to cause problems, but I daresay there are some people still viewing VHF analogue who are being inconvenienced by these things.

These are non Saorview approved and cannot be guaranteed to continue to work.

    There is no digital text.
Some of these type of products have overheating problems.
It may have the wrong mains plug.

@winston but so cheap seems a good option and clareman over on foreign satellite had no problems.
