Any Bank of Ireland Braches open on a Saturday?

As above. Does anyone know if any Branch of Bank of Ireland is open in Galway city or surrounding areas on a Saturday? One used to years back, can't remember which Branch. It's probably a thing of the past 'cuz it seems to be hard enough to get them to stay open a week-day, they're either opening late or closing early or off doing training. Could do with getting to a Bank today, just said I'd ask.

    No.

I don't recall any BOI ever opening on a weekend.

The lobby of 43 Eyre Square is probably open to access the machines.

i find it insane that the only time banks are open is when the people who earn money can't go to them.

never seen a bank of ireland open on a saturday - sure they barely want to serve you on a weekday, never mind coming in on a saturday.

    :p

To my knowledge the only bank that has any branches open on a Saturday in Ireland is Ulsterbank. Afaik the one at the front of the Liosban estate on the Tuam Rd is the designated Saturday opening branch in Galway.

Would be better if they were closed Monday and open on Sat.

that was for one month - and there was no cash transactions involved - just more "fleecing the customer" rabble. I wouldn't call that "opening on a saturday".

Ulster bank on the other hand DO open on a Saturday for ALL their customer needs. :D

Mortgage shop != bank branch Mary.

Bank drafts, cashing cheques, giving out to people in person because doing it over the phone just doesn't get any results.
