Usually buy this guide and according to his diary (which is well worth reading btw) it's good to go:

    http://www.mhpublications.co.uk/racing_diary.php

Bookdepository saying it's out the 7th of September, it's often delayed being sent out by Bookdepository/Amazon but again it's often a case that he isn't finished it by now.

Can't wait to get my hands on it & by association you always know when it lands on your door step that the real racing will be starting very shortly

How do you buy this Colonel? I was going to buy something last year but I needed a cheque.

If buying direct then cheque ir cash

Bookdepository & Amazon both sell it but usually get it later than direct buyers

Think WHSmith newsagents in the UK stock it just after release too

I went looking for it in 3 WHSmith shops on Sunday but no joy, I am looking forward to getting it just for the read.

Interesting, his website says it's available and he'll be sending the 1st postal batch out by the weekend

to be fair to him I did ask the staff but they said they never heard of it,

I did look in where I thought would be the right section but I never found it and they seem to throw the mags in anywhere, but I will try again on Saturday, I am off work for 4 hours so I will tip into town to see if it is there,

they told me I could order it if they did not have it on the shelves, so I will do try that also.

In the past it's usually gone to mail order clients first, then WHSmith then Amazon/Bookdepository etc

It's very reasonably priced and a great read. Would definitely recommend it

    Thursday 13th September 2012

I have posted out all orders for One Jump Ahead and a batch were sent to Raceform and Gardners this afternoon. The majority of branches of WH Smith should also have copies now. With the Listowel Festival set to get underway on Sunday, it is the ideal time to order a copy. Please email me at mark.howard@mhpublications.co.uk if you require further details of OJA, the Updates or forthcoming 3 monthly email service.

    Still haven't got mine

Decent read yet again, although one or two really obvious horses in the 40 to follow (Sprinter Sacre, Sir Deschamps & Simonsig). He's really sweet on Grand Crus for the Paddy Power & King George (notes him as "a must" for 10 to follow lists)

Declan Phelan's article was informative as always too

Keep an eye on his diary, he often posts up horses he fancies by referencing page numbers in OJA (or the flat equivalent, Ahead On The Flat)

Won't have mine til Monday :(

I quite fancy The Giant Bolster to win a few big three mile races, he is rising 8 and improved race by race last year.

Grands Crus should be awesome this year, for me it was jockey error in the RSA, Scu twice pushed him into a gap when still on the steel and both times he seemed to get sandwiched and then found nothing when asked.

    That's a bloody long wait

Spirit Of Shankly the first of the 40 to follow to run last Saturday, won impressively too (albeit looked a weak bumper before unless John Ferguson's horse put it up to him, he didn't!)
