How much can I expect to pay for child minding in minders home?

    Just wondering how much I can expect to pay for childminding in minders home? 2 children age 3&5. Minder will Drop kids to school/playschool & collect & mind from 12.30 & 1.30pm to 5.30pm

    it depends where in Ireland you are.
    A lot of childminders charge when the child is in playschool because they still have them for holidays and if they are sick.
    How long will she have them for in the mornings ?
    Can they walk to school or does she need to drive?(Carrying minded kids needs to be added to her insurance)

    The going rate is usually about 4 euro per child per hour with a discount for siblings but it rural areas this can be lower.

    Do you want to pay them x12 so the same amount in the holidays and summer holidays or less during the year and more for the summer months?
