They are fitted with a Perkins 236 engine which should be no problem to turbo but I would be a little wary of the rest of the tractor and whether or not it could stand up to the increase in power.

There's a turbo version of that 236 engine in a MF 390T also MF 398 690T etc which are all around 95 hp, so the engine itself should be able to handle the extra stress of the turbo. No idea how much it would cost or where you would get one.

Would you not be as well on to upgrade the entire tractor. Those 362's go decent money - €11 - 13k?

well id probly get 1 in mchales......and i understand where your comming from about upgrading but my tractor was bought of a neighbour when it had 300 hours and it was myself that put them on it :) so i would prefer not to change..........and if i was to change i think i would buy a landini blizzard.....there a nice tidy machine dont ya think? :)

There was no 690T but perhaps you meant the 698 T :)

Also featured in the Landini Blizzard 95 and 9880 :D.

And I agree with your last point.

Go for a 9880 or 8880 before a Blizzard - much more comfortable and stronger backend and better brakes.

I presume you mean on the Landini 80 series?

Most are zinc coated - from the early 90's so not an issue and the final Evolution versions had full glass doors.

Stall the ball till I think . The 236 was turboed but a 236 and a 236t are 2 different blocks . Bigger oil galleries etc. You can't turbo a standard 236 block. ( yout can but it won't last.)

No don't think so, 236 engine which is turbo, see attached, there's a 248 in the 390 which is a non turbo 80 hp.

dont buy a landini anyway, we've a massey 168 non multi wit a 188 engine recently fitted and also have a landini 9880 and the 168 would eat it off the road. 168 will drive the agitator no prob(good bit of smoke now) and never heat up and the landini will start getting warm in 20 minutes. and the cab is gettin shook with rust and shes only 98. cant grease any joint in the horrible yokes either

99 one here and no issues like that.

Neighbours gave a high houred one on a loader and has given very little trouble indeed.

9880's are a well recommended tractor around here with 4/5 in a small area.
