Use your name address as nornal, as long as it ends in "Ireland" you'll get your delivery.

Did you try N/A ..that works sometimes

Zip should be 5 digits! and don't use all zeroes.

I use 90210, just so the postman gets a giggle!

Put your county in. When in Ireland I either put in 000, or ORK. Be graaaand.

    00000

is what I always use for Ireland. Quite a few sites will only accept that as the "postcode" for Ireland rather as typing in five random numbers can often bring up a real code and your items go elsewhere..

I use 'N/A' and never had any trouble.

'none' usually does the trick for me.

It depends on the site, some require the postcode to be in a known format. It shouldn't matter what you put in and I use the 90210 postcode too as it's in the right format. It's not going to matter as long as they ship it to Ireland.

They've been "on the way" for decades, but they're still not here.
An Post have too much to lose if they are ever introduced.
Hence the "private" codes like Loc8

Over on the Bargain Alerts forum, they use BT11AA when ordering freebie stuff. For some reason works for delivery to Ireland, even if the site states UK delivery only.

To think the govt are actually trying to bring in actual post codes even though we dont need them to solve this very problem, created by inept web developers who talk about how 'awesome' their new iPad is while sipping starbucks. As laughable as the '131' regs for cars

I'm from donegal and use DL11 and it works for the majority of websites.

IE always works for me, I've been hearing that zip codes are being introduced in Ireland the last 5 years.

That's the Royal Mail central post office in Belfast, where they specialise in delivering misdirected mail. ;)

I've heard that Royal Mail NI are not as cooperative as they were with BT11AA being used by ROI residents to redirect mail.

I always put 'none' in and it works

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
