I was thinking of going to Carraig Abhainn but i saw on google maps it's over a 20 minute walk, wouldn't mind the walk, but be kind of hard in winter. is there any good places near carlow college? not too quite not too noisey, in the middle! :) i'd rather share a house with other students as well and for it in to be a good area. and is there any buses from Carraig Abhainn going from there to carlow college? it could make the trips easier in winter if I end up going there! :)

Don't stay in Carraig Abhainn. It's an expensive ****hole that's next to the I.T (a long walk)
Your best bet is to get yourself a house/apartment close to the college.

Daft.ie have a very good college accommodation search option. you can view by map. Sharing tab is your best bet if you're looking to share with other students.

Huntington Court (beside the Garda Station) is like a 1 minute walk to Carlow College / St. Pats. Hope that helps. It's not student accommodation but I'm sure you could find a room to let in one of those houses? Just a suggestion, hope it helps.

would Tanner Hall, Athy Road, Carlow town be close to St. Pats? :) I've never been in Carlow so i have really no clue, what is Tanner hall like? is it a good place? i saw on google maps it's just a 15 minute walk from st pats which is not bad :)
