dreading the next dental visit - any good painkillers for extractions

    im due to go back to the dentist again to reluctantly discuss getting my back molars removed,im just dreading it.i would like to know any experiences that might help me get through two rounds with this,any good painkillers on the market?im not talking paracetemol its measly and any relief i get is purley temporary and doesnt cover the pain fully.really would like to know what painkillers are available?

    Every painkiller will be temporary... I find neurofen pretty strong if paracetemol isn't working... And you can take both of those on the same day as each other.

    I didn't need more than those two for all four wisdom teeth out, so I doubt you would need more than that for a couple of extractions. :D

    Christmas...you need to relax your obsessing about your dental work, you have posted about these extractions on about 5 threads today.

    Stop using the Internet, go for a walk or have a glass of wine. For you own good stop over thinking this, it's simple dental work,you dentist will give you all the advice you need.
