Nightclub early closing time??

    Any word if there's gonna be an extension on the nightclub closing times for the college year?
    Seem's like it's gonna f**k up alotta businesses if it ain't reviewed

    no harm in having a thread here though either? To get students perspective on it, maybe...

    Personally, I think it'll be interesting what happens when all the students are back, freshers week etc. I don't think the majority of students are aware of the situation in Galway as of yet.

    Out of the 400 friends I have on FB, only 6 have "liked" the SaveGalwaysNightlfe Facebook page. Probably not a very good basis to go on but anyway.

    When everyone's back, I can really see the protests gaining ground.

    Nobody's gonna want to bother head out to a club for just one hour on a Wednesday/ Thursday. House parties ftw though! :p
