That just reminded me of an entire summer playing Hired Guns on the Amiga with 3 mates. An absolute classic.

The PS owes an awful lot to the hard work of Psygnosis way back when.
I have a mountain of their stuff in my collection, Wipeout 2097 will always be awesome though!

The wipeout series on ps1 was awesome. 2097 is my fave though. What I would give for a straight up hd version of that game. Exact same ships, tracks music etc. Just change the controls to analog.

I bought a few sealed Psygnosis big box games for the spectrum a few weeks ago. A real pity they're shutting down.

    Master of the Universe

I always loved their logo for some reason. Destruction Derby was the first ps1 game I bought. Always remember that owl logo when it was starting up :)

That was a game by Reflections, published by Psygnosis, before Sony sunk their teeth in and took over.
It was interesting in the extreme to see a quintessential Playstation game like Wipeout make it's way to the PC, Saturn and N64.
I have the Saturn versions of Wipeout and 2097, I also have Wipeout 64 for the N64.
The latter is impressive although the pop up is very intrusive, at least the developer made original tracks for that version.
Chip based music really let it down though, losing the club tooonzzz that were the series signature on the CD based consoles.
