Mowing lawns or general gardening for neighbours is always a good one to try.

you wont get a job mate
unless its a family friend type of thing
    laws prevent it
when your 15 though i think you can apply for smyths but you can only work certain hours a week i think its like 18-20 hours a week and you get extra break times as well

    stick to grass cuttin
    very handy
when i was 16 (not to long ago) just when the recession hit really
    i got no job
so i went out cutting grass
their was this owl ones grass id alwasys cut
shed give me 50e when i was cutting it , but strange thing is, on a hot day shed give me 50 because i take me top off :L i still cut her grass to this day haha easy money :P takes 2 mins of cutting grass while some dirty owl wan stares at me for 50 quid

    i feel like a prozzie

Stay is School anyway lad, I can only applaud your entrepeneurial spirit to try and find work in the summer but slog out School and college for the next few years, keep your head in the books and stay out of trouble and you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it, when you get older you will then realize that you did the right thing and have the freedom to do whatever you want to do.

Stay in School is the best advice you can get, honestly. When I was twelve I got a job in a Bar as a lounge boy on weekends. I got 5 pound a night but tips could be between 20-50. I would try your local pubs, go in and ask for the manager, ask him if any positions are available. If he says no tell him you will work a weekend or two for free on trial. Even try Rovers football Club, my local Club has teenagers collecting glasses helping out with lounge work. Just don't be disheartened if you get a few people telling you no. It is a lot harder now then when I was growing up. Best of luck with the job search.
