How can it be confined to one beach when it's a 2k strip from there to Blackrock? I'd have thought the whole area would be impacted???

How long does it take something like this to clear up?

Is Grathan beach not teh one sort of enclosed as a small laguna (e.g rusheen bay) ?

It is a little enclosed but not to the extent that Rusheen Bay is. It is clearly visible from the diving tower in Blackrock and was used by the Aquathon as the finish are for the SC & LC.

Apparently it's been an issue since the races. I was chatting to someone that did the Bay swim and he mentioned that around the time of the races he did a swim from the tower to the Grattan and back. The "pollution" was very noticeable once you passed Palmers Rock abd his wetsuit was stink after the swim. So much so he took milton too it as fresh water didn't help.
