I've been eaten alive by mosquitoes when out digging the garden the past few evenings and the itching sensation is driving me insane!

I've tried Calamine Lotion and Ice packs on the bites but it only provides temporary relief.Was talking to a Russian girl in work today and she suggested applying chilled vodka onto the bites with cotton wool.

Has anybody ever heard of this before <snip>?
