    You're fired.

    You're dumped.

    You're dropped.

    (not necessarily in that order)

    FUP OFF, BEING PREGNANT SUCKS.

Then when baby arrived, Oh, its the best job and the hardest one you'll ever do.

Being a parent is not that hard, sorry to break it to all the mammy and daddy martyrs out there.

Give it time lazygal, give it time. Babies, toddlers, young kids - piece of piss. Teenagers, now that's when it starts to get tricky, plus the novelty has well worn off by then!

Its very hard for some, heres my story.

"Don't tell them I'm your father"

Said to a 12 year old me by my father shortly after I was taken into his care on the way to the home he shared with his new girlfriend her child from a previous and my half brother, while my mother struggled for life with the help of a life support machine.

Thanks Dad I love you too!

A friend of mine rang me to tell me that he was going to get married and to spread the news.

I texted our friends and got the following reply from a female friend :

'Oh the pressure is on you now'

"I'm pregnant" - a "hilarious joke" made by an ex.

"By the way I'm HIV positive" - malicious comment by a psychotic ex.

Drives me nuts. Just 'cos I'm not smiling doesn't mean I'm depressed. Would love to turn to the next person who says this to me on the street and with an evil smile just say "it already has"

A girl who I worked with, a total knockout, said

Will you go out with me, I don't care about looks looks fade" implying I was a fug, so I said no, I still regret that answer.

Why does everyone think I'm a girl, or gay :(

It was a she, and she was ****ing mental. She admitted it was just a c*ntish, psycho comment after I confronted her over it... and spoke to her mother.

It takes a lot to make me angry, that did.

    What are your weaknesses?

I say.... "oh I sometimes work myself to hard"

The truth....."I am a raging alcoholic who works for the weekend and once I settle into this job I will soon figure out how to get away with doing the absolute minimum and spend the rest of my time nursing my hangovers of which I suffer from most days"

Really don't know what to say, just wish I had been there to say fcuk him, but as is said, "your friends you can choose, but your family are thrust upon you." BTW hope your relationship with him improved.

I personally hate when people extrapolate their own experience of a situation and assume that everyone else has the same experience. "This is how it was for me, so it will be exactly the same for you".

You think parenting is easy, good for you.

But you are not in the shoes of every other parent in the country so who are you to say whether they have an easy time of it or not. Every child is different, every family is different.

I've been more forgiving of that one ever since I really upset a Norwegian by asking if they were Swedish.......Should I really expect some Malteser to give a crap if I am Irish or English, or to know the difference? Personally I dont think so.

Being a smoker, being preached at by non-smokers "you don't realise the damage you're doing to yourself, wait til you're 50", has to be right up there!

"How do you manage to go with so many good-looking fellas?" uh, thanks.

"You're not in this world, you really don't know how to do anything properly." - Bimbo flatmate who is clueless, a disaster at anything, thinks she's perfect and must have had PMS or fell on her head that day.

"It looks a bit pinched, your belly sticks out a bit." - my mother's verdict of my new dress, while scrunching her nose at it.

List is endless, I could probably think of loads more.

"Now now, you cant have your cake and eat it".

Why not? Its my cake, what else am I supposed to do with it?

"You cant judge a book by its cover".

Really? Coz I find it gives you a pretty good indication of what the book is about.

    "What are you thinking?"

Usually followed with, "You must be thinking of something?"

Even if I was thinking of something I usually lose my train of thought when asked that.

    Ugh.

    In a clothes shop.

"Can I help you" although a comment probably designed to pressure you into a sale, it has the effect of making me leave.
