Same climb without the flattish bit tagged on - you're probably right.

Thanks, forgive my ignorance though, how do regional champs work? (I've never been to or seen one)

It's like any open race but to be eligible for medal's you need to either have a Leinster address or ride for a Leinster registered club.

No one-day licence though if you want to be eligible

I wonder can I hedge my bets and be both a veteran and an A3. There's no way I'm going up twice though!

Yes this is the one: http://www.strava.com/segments/jenkinstown-hill-1102992

All are welcome to take part, however only those riding with a club registered in Leinster with the relevant licence are eligible for medals.

Oh and just for the record the Louth Championship was held on this course last year and was won in 5min 8sec, but the course record is sub 4min 30sec

What's the story with 'Member Tickets' and 'Guest Tickets' on the registration form?

Are members those in CCC? Or those in Leinster? Does it matter which I pick? :)

For the Leinster champs: three women, one junior, two vets, nine A3s, four A2s and four A1s.

MWAP, are you wishing you entered as a vet now? :D

I didn't enter as anything in particular - I just gave my licence number and my license says "VET"!

HUGE congrats to MWAP, Leinster Vet Champion 2012!

edit: PS thanks MWAP, couldn't have done it without you. Literally, I'd still be in Dublin. :P

Also, thanks to CCC for a fantastic event, nicely run. Just next time can you let me know the prize-giving's at the top of the hill /before/ I get to the bottom? :pac:

Mr. buffalo is very modest in not mentioning that he got the bronze in the A3 category (and beat me by 14 seconds :shakes fist: ). Great ride.

Thanks a million to Cuchullainn who did a great job organising it. There were texts confirming entry, directions, the availability of start lists and the posting of results and they gave us all a great welcome.

Let's each slap each other on the back and say "GOOD JOB!" ;):D

Have to echo the thanks to Cuchulainn CC - well organised race, sunshine, bright moon, text and email confirms, results up before you get home... I even got the sign on clipboard handed to me in order to sign on from the comfort of the car... thanks all...
