I'm really undecided what to do at the minute! My friend and a friend of hers are heading off to Oz in September and I was thinking of going out to join them later maybe before Christmas or after as they have flights etc booked already..

The thing is I was thinking of applying for a post grad in teaching here or in the UK starting next September so if I do decide to go this may not be possible because of interviews etc... I thought that having the post grad may increase my chances of finding employment out there but it will likely take 2 years to do the course. I already have a first class honours degree in management, wonder what the job prospects are like in Melbourne?

What would you guys do? Head off and come back and do the post grad later? Or stay here and look for work in the meantime?

Go go go you'll probably regret it in the long run if you dont, I'd apply for the post grad courses and in your application tell them your travelling and that if they want to do interviews you can do Skype interview thie seems to be happening a lot more, you've nothing to lose......

Yeah you're so right! :) Plus I've just finished 4 years at college so I need the year out! I'm sure they would be willing to Skype as a lot of applicants could be travelling on a year out.. I guess I'm just a bit chicken now because I'll have to fly out by myself! I know I'd really regret not going so I think I'm gonna go for it :)
