Disgusting carry on from Klaasen but the West brothers have shown themselves up to be pure idiots with their statements on Twitter. If the police decide to prosecute and Klaasen is found guilty according to other forums he'll get a 12 month jail sentence,if this happens surely his darts career will come to an end?

Idiot. His PDC career has been an absolute flop though. After winning Lakeside in Jan 06 (correct year???) I thought he'd take the PDC by storm. He's now well down the rankings. Surely this is the end of his career anyway

Quite shocking if true from Klaasen and quite a change from the generally light-hearted nature of the game and its players.This must be the most serious allegations ever surrounding a darts player too I would say.

Jelle is also down to play a european tournament next month in stuttgart but that must surely be gone now.

Klaasen was/is a huge disappointment since his world title win in 2006.Jumped ship to the pdc almost instantly believing he was the new barneveld.He should have stayed where he was for at least 5 years like barney did when the bdo was still a big draw in holland.instead he became a bit-part player in the pdc.

A TOP darts player has made his first appearance in court accused of sexually molesting a young fan.

Kevin Spiolek appeared in the dock at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court to deny the two charges against him yesterday.

The 50-year-old is accused of indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 1999 while he was in the resort for the World Darts Championships at the Winter Gardens.

Spiolek was once ranked eighth in the world, and his matches were regularly featured on TV at the peak of his career.

Yesterday, prosecutor Tracy Yates asked for his case to be sent for trial at Preston Crown Court.

Defence lawyer Hugh Pond confirmed his client would deny the charges at the higher court.

Spiolek, of Water Lane, Oakington, Cambridge, was bailed to appear at the crown court by district judge Jeff Brailsford.

Spiolek is best known for his playing career throughout the 1980s and 90s, and is one of just seven players to have beaten the darts world’s top star Phil Taylor during the World Darts Championships competition, knocking him out at Lakeside in 1993.
