spraying after reseeding

    hi all, i reseeded 3 weeks ago and the grass is well up due to the weather conditions.i wonderd if i should spray for weeds. i hope to graze in 2 weeks time with sheep. as it stands i dont think the weeds are too bad plus therr were no docks before. not sure what to do????

    no need to spray,the sheep will clean up the grass for you.

    The only thing you have to make sure is to make the sheep graze it bare, and if you see any thistles spray them.

    I be suprised if there is not seedling docks (dock seeds can survive in the ground 50+years) dandlooins, thistles and other perniels. If you use a post emergence spray now it will kill all the rubbish it is alright saying the sheep will eat them but they will only wipe out annuals completely. I be inclined to spray. Can you see the clover leaf forming if so go in and spray. Also make sure you do not have chickweed.

    Im in same boat need to do a post emergence spray but the ground is too wet to travel...according to yest indo south west got 300% rainfall v 125% for most other parts of country....cant feed it either as bullocks are 550-700 kg....disaster...any thoughts other than bullocks will hav to go in a months time
