Brought my car in the garage today for them to look at a problem I have with wet floors/ heavy condensation on windows.

When i collected the car, i was told that they had checked everything, but couldn't find the problem, and that the charge was 130 euro.

now i accept that they spent time looking at it, but, I still have the wet floors.

    Should I of paid?(I did)

They did work and couldnt find the problem. I assume they charged you the relevant hourly rate so well justified.

If you agreed a no win no fee type deal then you would be justified not paying them

Or you could have got a quote for the work and agreed the price before hand.

i see you point, the part that gets me is that, after paying the money, i still have the leak.

I suppose the service provided was an investigation, and they had to put time into it. I had a similar problem and it turned out the AC outlet was blocked.

€130 seems like a lot for them to look at the vehicle and not find a problem.

Work is charged on a per hour basis
I always get a quote on labour and as I do all the easier stuff myself I'm often told " man ; I'd have charged you a lot more if I had t quoted you x.

But not finding something is like not fixing something sometimes it's just hard luck
