Btea and fees

Hi sorry another thread on btea and fees , but my story may be slightly different.

I started a college course last year, I went straight into second year of a 3 year level 7 course because I am a qualified electrician. I qualified for advanced entry but it hasn't worked out , I think I'm going to fail some repeat exams I'm doing at the minute :(

What is my situation if I want to start another course? Will I have to pay the fees and would I still be eligible for the btea? thanks
