different frame sizes for hybrids compared to racer bikes

    I have a hybrid bike and the frame size is 58cm...however i notice with racer bikes that a large frame is 55cm....is there different frame sizes for hybrids compared to racers...

    Different manufacturers measure their frames in different ways. There is no real standard.
