Gym & Eating times ?????

Working a 9-5 job , get home at 6pm and out the door to do a class in the gym for 7pm. I am then home for 8pm and have my dinner then.

Problem now is that the times of the classes in my gym have changed, most classes that I go to (spin, kettle bells Etc) have changed to 7.45pm. Which means I am not getting home till 8.45.

My question is - Should I eat my dinner before I go to my class or should I wait till I get home from the class (8.45/9pm)?
Eating before the class I am afraid will make me feel ill or get a stitch and eating after I feel is very late to be eating?

I am trying to lose weight and tone so I don't want to be eating at the wrong times.

Also if it makes any difference - my dinners are light: low carb high protein dinners (fish, chicken etc)

    Appreciate any advice.

If the only thing that changes during the day is your eating time, fat loss shouldn't be effected.

Try eating before training and see what happens.

If you find yourself massively hungry and you eat more as a result, it's not your meal times that are the problem, it's increased kcal intake.

I always eat my dinner before the gym, don't get into the gym till about half 8 though most nights so the dinner has a good hour to make its way into my system. Generally don't eat anything afterwards. I find thats the best way to do it. Without a meal beforehand I wouldn't be able to do anything worthwhile. Plus, before I started serious exercise I found that evening time was the worst period for snacking of junk food. Since I'm not back in the house till about 10 P.M I've more or less cut out my evening snacking death spirals... I'd say I've cut out around 2000 calories a week from this circumstance alone (Which is about half a pound of weight)
