Does anyone know the opening hours for the Chapel? Just to visit, not for a mass.

All the time. Once the Campus is open, so is the Chapel. Beautiful spot. Always good place to relax for a few minutes

Just the last few times I've been along to the Chapel it's been closed either for cleaning or with no sign. I have a friend who is visiting and hasn't seen it yet and wanted to bring them along. Also, agreed it is lovely.

Access via the cloisters - I've never known it to be closed/locked.

What time of the day were you there? Have never known it to be locked. Ask the lads in the hut at the gate. Nice guys and very helpful - they should be able to tell you if it is closed for some reason.

I've never heard of it being locked myself... that being said it seems the days of claiming sanctuary seem to be long gone

There's a notice on the Website about Pugin Hall being closed for Maintenance during August. Perhaps the same applies to the Chapel

Apparently they are varnishing the floors and it will be back open in 3 weeks or so.

Its been locked for me a fair few times when I've gone to show people around , albeit usually after 7pm
