Slipping further into religious fervor, Bill gives Jessica an order she’s loath to carry out. Armed with a damning video of Russell and Steve, the military delivers an ultimatum to the Authority. Claude and Maurella take Sookie to meet the faerie elder, who may know something about an ancient family secret. Alcide reconnects with his father; Sam and Luna hitch a ride into the Authority.

I was like this at the end.

I dunno why but I have this feeling that the warlo (not sure that's how you spell it) character that we've yet to meet could be Russel.

Thats what I thought at first but then after the dark air/cloud monster thing that told sookie 'you're mine' I was rethinking that.

I felt the season has been sluggish enough up to now! Should make for an interesting finale anyway.

i don't think it's russel. a new character, possibly older than russel. seeing as russel is trying to claim sookie, it makes sense that an older vampire will come along and sort him out.

I think this season is strongest in awhile. The show still suffers from too many story threads and not seeming to know where it's going early on in the seasons. As always though the 2nd half of a season is much more interesting that the 1st half. Still seems like a lot of things to sort out in the finale but Russell Edgington is easily one of the best characters they have in the entire series. Loved how quickly and effortlessly he glaomoured Jason.

Does anybody else think that Warlo will end up fighting with Russell for Sookie? Since she's his by the contract?

That was an interesting episode. Seeing Bill being all mean is really strange though! I'd say someone has been poisoning them or something since they're all having the same hallucination about Lilith. I love seeing Russell and Steve together, they're such a funny couple.

It was explained why they are all going bat**** crazy. Pam was explaining that when vampires spend a lot of time together in numbers and under the same roof,while feeding off each others blood,they get nasty and crazy. She called it nesting. They weren't feeding off each others blood but they were drinking the vampire blood that was in that vial. Nothing special about the blood,just vampire blood.

I really hope this Warlo isn't another ancient vampire. We've had that, with Russell (and Godric to a slightly lesser extent). To have another 3000 year old vamp just pop-up would be stupid.

Season 5 is starting on FX over here on 17th September.

We've seen it via our cousins in the States;)
