there will be no riots in barcelona this year i assure you ;)

There were no riots when we played there either, only a city that was unprepared for 25.000 football fans, so a wee bit of litter and public urinating, nothing bad :p

And the mighty Forres Mechanics in that Ramsdens thingy you's play in.

We play them in the Scottish cup if you are gonna slag us at least get it right ;)
Who you playing in the pawnbroker cup?

At least Europe is spared for the next few years. It must feel like 1946 all across the continent, people can slowly rebuild their lives post-Sevco..... :D

Hahaha, you're even trying to turn public drunkenness into some sectarian motive, that's sad.

Guess what happens when you have 25.000 drunken fans in your town and hardly any public toilets.

A wee joke 3 pages ago has turned into Celtic fans moaning about something that happened in the past, about a club that is supposedly dead to them, and has no relevance, again.

A now defunct club once won a now defunct trophy in Barcelona, only to see them banned from defending it due to riots in said City

    A post-sevco world indeed :)

The riots weren't in the city 99% of the bother took place in the stadium

Ah, that riot, where Rangers fans showed the Catalan people not to fear Franco's fascist police, and were invited by the same club 2 years later for a tournament ;)

Isn't it great though that our getting to the group stages has resulted in the other SPL clubs receiving £11 million

Brilliant mate, always is. There'll be a couple of great day trips lined up now for the group stages (i cheated though, I stayed in Glasgow for the Hibs game on Sat and going back on the bus after that)

You'd be best of flying to Faro I think, it's about 200km so a few hours on the bus.

Mates did it when we playing Sporting, have the right people on the bus and it flies by :D

What a great night last night. A bit nervy early on but we never looked like we were in any real danger. The focus was obviously on staying tight and organised at the back and not giving any gifts away. Offside on the first goal although the build up on the corner was excellent and overall I though we grew into the game and deserved the win on the night. Hopefully the players will really gain some confidence from handling such a big game. Crucial I think for us to make thr group stages in the Champions League for the season ahead as well and the progression of the team.

I must say also well done to Kelvin Wilson who was excellent and hopefully now is really finding his form. Man of the match though for me was Samaras who was superb. I think he is so much better for us when he plays wide left and can really run at defenders. Tony Watt looked good again when he came on. But overall a good profesional job and what a great feeling at the end of it all.

Great that we got Barcelona as well. I was actually on holidays there earlier this month and loved the city. Anybody going there for the first time will love it.

The Helsingborgs fans were given a UB banner yesterday and had it at the game, presumably they got it in the town before the game but Celtic fans reckon the UB bought tickets for Parkhead just to take a banner.

they tried to/did put up a banner in the helsingborgs end and there was a bit of a scrap. Nice of them to pay in though.
