    Hi All,

I am travelling S.E.A and Oz next year and just wondering whether it is advisable to get other Vaccinations apart from the reccomended ones.

I travelled to Thailand 2 years ago and got all the required injections and have since had my top up injections. I was thinking of getting the HEP B one just to be safe, but is there really much point in getting any others???

just to let you know requesting medical advice on the forums is not recommended. In personal experience, go with whatever the doctor recommends, if you can afford more vaccinations, then in my opinion it is better to be safe than sorry. We're getting Hep B (and I thought this was one of the recommended ones by tmb), and Jap Encephalitis B, cos we're travelling during wet season and it's not a disease I'd wanna catch. So discuss with your doc!
