Hey, so you know many jobs require experience and so, many jobs say:
2 years of PHP experience required.

*PHP is server side language for programming web sites.

I make websites and have them live online, is there any way I can use this as experience? For example if in interview they ask what experience do you have and with what company? how would that work out? can I take work experience as time required to make site or is this not the case? would this be more of portfolio?

btw does charity work can consider as work experience in future?

They usually mean professional work experience. Non professional stuff can still be used for portfolio purposes. Most people in IT would have been messing around with computers from an early age, but this doesn't count as work experience :)
