    I do. Half the proper horned ewes and other half is a mix of texel/Suffolk cross.

    same here about ninety percent are blackies and the rest are hiltex, planning to increase the numbers over the next few years and will bring up the percentage of crossbreeds.

    How do you find the Texel and Lleyn crosses, would be very interested in hearing about the Lleyn crosses.

    texel cross works fine, great to rare , v milky, no real complaints, but tried the lleyn out so first crop of lambs this year, single lambs sound, the twins need a bit of looking after, the reason i tried him was to see if there a bit hardier for the hill and also to see will they have a lot of twins, iv a few ewe lambs gone off to hill, with the idea that every july i can let them off to dry up for a month or two when the lambs are taken off them, a work in progress ,
