    Well just wondering if any body hasa tp linkpowerline , just wanted to now if you need two of there or just the one as imconfused alot , heres a link of one i was planning to buy just wondering will i need two or what ..

    You will need two at least. One connects directly to the router.

    I find that a bit funny, the 300 Mbps WLAN doesn't help much, since it only works at up to 200 Mbs through the power line. ;)

    This one would be sufficient at the other end. The speed is OK for normal networks and internet connections, however, if you have a home network with a gigabit router and a gigabit network controllers, you should get a set of 500 Mbps power line adapters.

    And look up some tests and reviews before you buy, many of these gadgets are outright cr@p.

    Neither work at those speeds. Wireless N is at best 60Mbps and the powerline do a bit better. I get about 70Mbps from my current gen powerline adapters.

    500mbs switching speeds. In theory. Which they don't come anywhere close too. Not that it matters if your base-lining your required speeds off of your internet speeds.

    OP, what is it you want to do. The below two units, one attaches to your current wireless router, the other where you have no signal. You configure second unit with the same network name and password. Your devices switch between them deciding which is the strongest.
