I'm looking into medical scholarships at the moment run by medical research , pharma and biomedical companies , especially those under the fortune 500 list . Seemingly , from what i've read , those on the list according to scholarship websites offer the best chance of providing say internships and then sponsoring those interns to study medicine in the states .

Anyone know of any that are doing something remotely like that , have checked pfizer , gsk , tylenol , and some others , but want to check them all ou

your post doesn't make much sense, providing internships on what basis? and why would they spend hundereds of thousands to educate someone while not getting anything back in return?

they do fund studies etc and PhD positions, clinical studies with grants and the like, but they have to declare all of this though, and they get alot out of this, basically if you discover a wonder drug while working for one of these companies directly or indirectly, they then own that drug and everything to do with it. Well in case of the PhD student, its the college who technically will own the discovery, they don't necessarily have to credit you either, college can just credit the institution.
