    Morning All:

Sitting here with one of my work colleagues. He seems to remember his dad having a car, when he was younger, that had the fuel filler cap under the rear reg plate. For the life of him he can't remember what type of car it was. It was in the late 70's/early 80's. Any suggestions please. He seems to think is was British or a Puegeot.

    Thank you in advance.

It was common enough on many cars back in the fifties and sixties.

    But how about this one

Surely that was long long before the health and safety brigade came to town. Nowadays you cant have a mobile phone near you when filling up. Imagine someone stepping on the brake lights when you're doing so?
