    Hi guys,

I'm looking for some help picking a good value tablet. It'll be used for all the regular things, browsing, skype, watching movies etc.

I have been looking about boards and I seen someone bought this one and the reviews on amazon are good. Is it any good in your opinion? Its selling for £75 which I think is a good price. I'm willing to pay a good bit more than that if needs be.

One thing I would like is a bigger screen. The one in the link only has a 7" screen.

What do ye think? Any better recommendations?

The above tablet will cost €115 with postage

I would recommend you get a Nexus 7, they are fantastic value in specs vs price.

However they not available in Ireland so you would need someone in the UK to order it for you, or you could use a proxy to spoof a uk location and then use the below delivery option:

Nightline offers a service called parcel motel which it could be shipped to in the north and then it will be brought down to a depot of your choice.

I think it works out to £159 for the 8 gig version or £199 for the 16gig one. IIRC you get some Google Play store credit with that too.

I have a sony tablet S. I find it great fro day to day internet usage. It also has one or two features that other tablets dont have like a IR remote fuction. Its very comfortable to use also, its kinda slanted. Battery is also good, mine will last about 6hours of heavy use.Not sure on price, they are about 300e

If you're going 7inch get the Nexus. There is no competition. But if you want 10" then its the Transformer Prime or Arnova 700 or whatever its called. Dont bother with a chinapad, unless you're very very into your android tweaking you'll hate it.
