WELL has a new surprise...

I've known this for a while now, and other people might have as well but it seems WELL made their own clone of Tokyo Marui's L96 AWS. Here's a link where to buy it in Ireland (Finally...): http://www.airsoftguns.ie/sniper-rifles/1240-well-l96aws-sniper-rifle-with-scope-bipod-black.html

Price may be a bit high, but your getting the airsoft rifle with one magazine, a 4-16x50E scope and a bi-pod.

So what would be people's 2-cents on this? I was interested in buying one of these but then I decided not to but after looking at pictures of a VSR-10 trigger box and the WELL/TM L96 AWS trigger box, it looks like there the same (Please correct me if I'm wrong). Part's like sears and pistons, spring guides, etc... shouldn't be hard to find.

So, buy it... or get a TM instead?

Isn't the TM one that price?

    nope about 100 quid more

personally though I'd go for the TM one. and also as far as i know the trigger boxes are different (unless they've changed them in this model on purpose)

As T4RGET said, €100 cheaper than the TM, good for people on budgets. I'm pretty sure that the WELL uses the same trigger box as the TM but again, I could be wrong as I've never really seen a TM L96 AWS. This is a picture from eHobby:

The trigger box from my point of view looks like a VSR-10, but it probably isn't. I'd say the sears, piston and other stuff is different.

Hmmmmm I duno, 250euro your getting a scope (a puck ugly one at that), bi-pod, mag etc which makes me think the quality will be some what shocking.

Tokyo marui is tokyo marui at the end of the day, you are paying the extra for quality and are getting it. It is a shame that the TM L96 does not come with the fluted barrel and muzzle break granted these can be bought and thrown on but they cost a bit and are hard enough to find.

You could just get the ares aw.338 springer and have the lot, scope mounts, very cool looking bi-pod, folding stock, 3 colour choices, mono-pod, cheek riser, adjustable butt-stock, fluted barrel and muzzle break and if you get the ASG version comes with accuracy international trades.

Seen the ARES .338 alright, looks pretty dam nice. Folding stock... I could live with it. Seems to have a different top rail for scopes, lucky the package comes with it.

Question about the ASG/ARES one, I have a ASG catalog with it in a page but it mentions that it's gas. Do ASG also stock the springer one if you know by any chance?

The springer only came out recently enough so Id imagine they would. Check the website maybe.
