Cheers, Does everything lock in place or is it just the swivel that they showed in the video? Wouldnt be great if the bi-pod was twisted sideways walking along with the gun on your shoulder.

You can increase the tension on locking nut for the swivel either tight or as loose as desired, really sturdy bipods & spring legs are very handy.

Cheers, I think I'll pick one up..

9-13 I reckon, although I noticed a lot this summer in the fields there is often a brow/dip blocking the shot. shooting sticks will be handy i suppose.

Sent you a pm Garv :)

Found them for half price online and sent you the info as I dont know if you can post links to sellers.

Got it including delivery €56 I think its the same one so I took the chance but check it out yourself before you buy :)

I dont know if the one I bought is the traverse track but I will let you know when it arrives.

His pricing is the same as the traverse track models and I am not sure if his picture is correct so I sent him an email, its still a cheap buy so I dont mind.

Cheers for the links and info.. They look like a good job. Cabellas have the cheap too but delivery for international shipping is really expensive so I'll follow up them links.

    No worries, glad to help.

I buy fishing gear from Cabelas and Basspro but if you are not buying a load, the shipping just aint worth it.

That crowd I sent you the link for are very quick to respond to email so if you send them a request they will get a traverse one out to you and invoice you through paypal, they are online now as I just paid my invoice :)

Best of luck with it and safe shooting.

Well mine arrived yesterday after being shipped last Friday.

Thats a pretty good turn around from the USA.

Fitted it just now as I was away the last few days.

Very happy with it too. I dont think its flimsy at all and it feels night and solid on the AirArms rifle.

depending on how tight you set the lock nut, you can control the tracking and pivot speed while still retaining the steadiness of the bipod, its very smoothe.

Looking forward to taking it out in the field :)

    Just wondering, why?

Because they are way over priced.. There are plenty of bi-pods on the market today that are half the price and just as good. I got a non swivel 9-13 bi-pod and its just as good side by side with a friends harris.
There is plenty of crap out there too but lots of people are finding great copies of the harris for half the price.

I'm only upgrading because of the rough ground I shoot on.

I also like to be different :D

I hope this is a good one. I just bought one for the .270 so should have it in the next week or so and will swop the harris over to the new .22 for the bunnies.:D:D

I am not sure if they are overpriced Garv, I would say that they are more than likely, overtaxed.;)

It arrived today so I will be trying it out out as soon as I get a chance and will get back to ye on it and let ye know what I think. But with the way things are it could be next week before I get out.

Got out last night for an hour with the new traverse bipod but I did not get a shot. It tracks very nicely and on the rough ground I usually shoot it suits great. I did not get a shot at the stag I saw on the first day of the season as it was not safe to take, but if I had this bipod instead of the 9-13 swivel harris I had, then that stag would be my dinner today. Not that there is anying wrong with the harris I just could not make that shot with it the other day.
