NCT Disc different expiry date from certificate

I bought a used car from a dealer recently 03 plate but imported from the uk 2007. and I just checked the nct certificate and it states that it expires on Jan 2013. However the disc states that it doesn't expire till Jan 2014!! How is this possible? Which one is the true expiry date. Who could I phone to verify this car…

Nct has a phone line especially for queries. It's 1890 200 670 I'd say that would be your first port of call

Thanks, I'll phone them tomorrow and find out if it has an nct. Can't understand the different dates unless one is a forgery. They both look genuine to me but I've only just moved here so anything would pass as genuine to me
