Seeking free accommodation in exchange for work/maintenance/security

    Hello,

I'm looking to find some accommodation somewhere in Ireland in exchange for refurbishment, maintenance or care-taking work on the property. Ideally the property would be a habitable, detached property with some lands attached. All locations considered.

I am an able-bodied male, early forties, and with considerable skill and experience in home repairs. I need to find a suitable property to complete a music project that may take some months.

Please include as much information about the property as you can with pictures.

    Thanks a million! :)

Thanks Goodne, it looks like a good idea that site. Will investigate further. :)

"In Ireland fees vary from €25 - €100 a week, depending on the room size and the location. Camelot also asks you to put down a fully refundable deposit of €500"

I thought it was too good to be true!

Camelot charges rent, but it s way below normal market rate ,you are acting like a caretaker, you just have to live there
eg 150 per month in glasnevin dublin,is very cheap.

Nice one thanks! Going to apply for one. Though no pets rule could be an issue for doggie!!
