Red wine stain on clothing

    Hello all,

Sorry if this has been covered before but couldn't find a specific answer.

Does anyone know how to remove a red wine stain from a cream 100& cotton top that has been washed twice after staining?

The first time the garment was soaked in a saltwater solution then laundered, second time soaked in white wine vinegar with bicarbonate of soda paste then laundered.

I realize that the satin is "washed in" but is there any method of removing it at this stage?

    Thanks in advance.

I have heard good things about this.

Give vanish a try - it's usually pretty good at removing most stains. It removed a blood stain off a shirt of mine that had been washed at least once.

Hi, I found two solutions for bad stains:

    1) Make up remover wipes. Especially the ones that remove waterproof mascara. Johnson's one comes to my mind. Saved me many carpets and clothes, even in the next day.

    2) If that doesn't work and you are in Dublin, there is a a dry-cleaner in Ballsbridge called Craft which is absolutely fantastic. They saved me a jacket I had deemed lost forever.

    Best of luck!
