Rear wheel stolen, need replacement parts.

Hey guys, I got my new bike on Friday (http://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-3-id_8167038.html), and locked it up in DCU for 3 hours on Monday. My rear wheel was stolen during this time :eek: , so I need to replace everything that comes off with the rear wheel. This was my first road bike, and as you can tell I'm not too knowledgeable about bikes and their components.

Looking for second hand parts of similar spec to those stocked on the original bike. Alternatively, any advice on where to pick up such parts for relatively cheap in Dublin would be appreciated. (Can't afford another big purchase so soon after buying bike!)

What you are looking for is a Clincher Rear Wheel for a roadbike, size 700c, Compatible with 8-speed Shimano and Sram systems. You will also need a quick release skewer, an 8 speed rear sprocket (12 to 25 for instance) a 700x23mm clincher type tyre and an inner tube to suit.
All of this new will cost about €120 minimum, or you could buy a 2nd hand set in near mint condition (front and rear) for about €80 to €100 here in the adverts section. However you might end up waiting a while for someone to advertise a suitable wheelset. Hopefully someone with a spare rear will see your add and make contact. Best of luck.

I have a brand new front/rear wheel and Tyres skewers,I'll be sticking them up here soon but if you wand 1st shot at them,there brand new never used as I did not build up the new bike yet,you can have the lot for €90 seen you had bad luck,if you can get a cassette I'll fit it on the wheel for you,I think I'm in Dublin tomorrow eve,only thing I took the tubes out for spares for my training bike but €10 will cover the 2 of them,I know your only looking for the back wheel but I don't want to split them,€90 is a good price for new ,I think there mavic cxp22 or cpx22,
