Heated wing mirror terminals

    Hey All,

My wing mirror glass got smashed by some berk so I ordered a replacement and it arrived today. I went to fit it earlier but the heating terminals are in a different location and oriented differently (vertically rather than the OEM horizontal arrangement)

One wire has a blue stripe the other red and I know which terminal it came off of on the existing mirror, however there were no obvious markings on the new or old mirror which would suggest a positive or negative polarity terminal.

Does it matter? And how will I figure out which one is which to match them up if so..?

I can't see how it would matter.
