Clearly they've been living on Planet Zog for the last fortnight! :D
I'm no expert, but surely this isn't legal on equality grounds?? Not sure how the law works here, mind!

What is their toilet situation? If they don't have a female toilet there may be H&S legislation that stops them allowing women join.

Might not have the changing rooms for the ladies?

Are there any girls who wantto box in the town. If enough girls get together and make a proposal eg a ladies only night I'm sure the club will consider it.

You have to be very practical about these things.

Either that or go in a batter the owner - I'm against violence but it might be appropriate in this situation :D

I know, it's crazy. There's a gym near me that is "female only". Men can't use it or join.

Total case of double standards, women aren't allowed = outrage and screams of sexism.

Women's only club = fair play to ladies for setting up their own club and keeping the men away.

Except that if you'd read the thread you'd see that male only clubs eg portmarnock are fine too so long as it serves some purpose
