Hi, unfortunately i ran out of oil the other day and the burner got air-locked.
Its a 1993 bentone electro oil A8 OR AB (HARD TO READ). Theres oil getting to the pump, ive checked.

Disconnected the inlet to burner and pressed the button to fire her up to dispel the air, nothing is happening, the pump is going but no oil comming out at all. Been doing this for nearly 2 hours along with another guy (who knows more than me) i remember the guy who serviced it for me last year said it was a pig to get started but this ridculous

Am i doing something wrong? is there another way?

i can get more info on the make if needed

    Thanks in Advance
    Matthew

Open the P nut on the oil pump and depress the red reset button on the burner whilst the P nut is open/loose. Once fuel is flowing under pressure, tighten the nut.

I am presuming it is a Danfoss oil pump on the burner.

    hi shane

thanks for reply, im not sure what pump is on it. It turns out there was a wee pluggage on the line from tank to pump, sucked it out and she fired up first go..

beast taking up my time
