    Hi there,

Im planning on going to college in 2013. I figured it would be better to live at home while studying as i would have more time to put work into my studies and without making life hard paying rent. I am 24 with a BTEC Diploma hoping to get into the third year

Does any one know if i can receive a grant for fees if im living at home?

    Id appriciate your comments.

You can receive a grant for fees while living at home, but because you live at home your parents income will be taken into consideration.

Yes but it means your parents income is assessed.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
