    Hi,

I just moved from my Laser card to a Visa debit one, and I definitly welcome the change.

However there is one thing that I found a bit bothering.

With my laser card the transactions on my online statement used to look like this (the amounts are made-up):

    08/08/2012 POS04AUG KC PEACHES 10.00
    08/08/2012 POS05AUG TESCO MOBILE 15.00
    03/08/2012 POS01AUG MARKS & SPEN 49.61
    02/08/2012 POS31JUL FRESH GOOD F 10.83
    01/08/2012 POS30JUL EATCITY IE 12.22

Now with the Visa Debit I get something like this:

    14/08/2012 10AUG DEBIT CARD 15.00
    14/08/2012 10AUG DEBIT CARD 17.00
    14/08/2012 11AUG DEBIT CARD 51.87
    14/08/2012 12AUG DEBIT CARD 8.74
    14/08/2012 12AUG DEBIT CARD 8.30

So in summary, it always just says "DEBIT CARD" but doesn't mention the shop name anymore.

I have a habit of reviewing my statement once in a while to ensure there is no fraudulent transaction which would have been made without my knowledge. Without any detaisl on the outlet related to the transaction on the payment, doing this is pretty difficult.

BoI, would you consider bringing back the outlet names to the statements for Visa Debit cards?

    Hi Bob24,

We put up the merchant information as we receive it. A merchant can take up to three working days to fully process a transaction. The above transactions were done over the weekend so should be processed this week.

    I hope this helps.
    Thanks
    Linda

OK, thank you very much for clarifying this. No more issue then :-)
