Sending a package to the US

    Hi all,

Was just wondering if someone could advise.

I received a jersey in the post today from Illinois in the US, but have to return it.

I need to be able to track the return, i.e. see where it is and when it will get there and I would also like to choose an express delivery if possible. What is my best option and what cost would I be looking at? Also, what's the story with customs? Could it get caught on the way back in to the US, or would I have to repay? Not sure how it worked (I prepaid customs charges when I purchased the jersey so it cleared customs here).

    Thanks,

you can register to usa with anpost but their tracking is sh*te once the item leaves the country but you can get confirmation of delivery its just the bit in between that sucks, other option is ups or dhl but they are very expensive. the value of the item is printed on the docket thats where the taxes kick in, having said that not every package gets a customs check.

Once it arrives in the US you can use the tracking number on the USPS website and it will show you all the bits in between.
