Filing Back-dated Forms 12

    Good Afternoon

Would anyone have an idea as to whether the revenue would inpose penalties for late filing of Forms12?

There will be no tax due, but the forms would go back to 2006.

It relates to rental income on an investment property.

All other tax is PAYE and fully up to date.

    Thanks

Assuming Form 12 is the proper form (I.e. the person isn't a Chargeable Person), then there shouldn't be a problem. Form 12 results in a balancing statement rather than a tax assessment, and AFAIK there's no facility for surcharge / penalties on a balancing statement. Not sure about interest, but if there's no liability then it's a moot point.
