CAO offers?

Been looking around a few threads on boards today and their seems to be a lot of confusion about CAO offers and I for one am confused. I got an offer in Round Zero and accepted it gladly (cant wait to start), however I started to think what if I got offered a course for example my 5th choice in my cao preferences, what if I accepted that course and then 2 weeks later I decided I shouldn't have accepted the course and should just have waited till round one.

Now a lot of people are saying if you get offered a course in round zero and you accept, that's it. NO MORE offers will avail to you, and you wont get an offer in round one. Now iv heard and seen on Boards.ie on the DIT thread that a person accepted a course in round zero, but then received an offer in round one. Accepted both course's but then the round Zero course was given to someone else because this person accepted his new offer in Round one.

Id say there is some people on boards that might have accepted a course they now dont want to do, from what iv seen ya might get offered again!

    anyone have any opinions?
